Complete Adoption Application

Timberkatz Cattery takes very seriously the placement of our kittens.
We are a small cattery having a few litters per year and carefully screen all potential buyers as make sure that our kittens are
placed in loving homes. As the very first step in our adoption process, we ask that you complete our
Adoption Application which provides us with an opportunity to learn about you and your
family. |
Timberkatz Cattery Will Contact You
Once we receive your application, Neli will contact you within 24 - 48 hrs with information concerning our current litters or plans for upcoming litters. You may also check our Litter Announcements to see when new litters are available.
When contacted, you will be able to ask Neli any questions that you have about the cattery, the Maine Coon breed, our kittens or whatever other questions you may have. We are a resource for you to learn from and will continue being one even after your kitten leaves the cattery.

Contracts And Deposits
|
Once it's time to reserve your bundle of joy, a deposit and a signed sales agreement will be required to hold your kitten. This confirms to us that you
are a serious kitten buyer and insures the kitten you want has been reserved for you. Lastly, the remaining payment due to be paid 10 days BEFORE your kitten is to be picked up. |
Bringing Your Kitten Home
We recommend that you read our exclusive article, Bringing Home Your Kitten to get prepared for your newest family member. In addition, we send all of our kittens home with the following:

Written Sales Agreement with Altering Agreement.

Two Series of Vaccinations.
- Two Series of De-Wormings (pre-cautionary only!)

Veterinary Health Certificate.

Kittens sold FeLV and FIV negative.

After Your Kitten Comes Home
|
Once your kitten is home and settled in, Timberkatz Cattery is still there for you by offering the following:
- Photos of your kitten and litter mates within our Photo Gallery that you can show your friends and family.
- Future pictures of your Maine Coon posted in both the Photo Gallery and on the Before and After page within the web site as your kitten matures into an adult Maine Coon. Just send us your pictures either via e-mail or US Mail and we'll do the rest.
- Resource for you and your kitten for the life. If anytime you have questions concerning your Maine Coon, just give us a call and we'll be happy to answer any questions that you might have.
